TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Als alternatief voor de in de punten 1 tot en met 27 en 29 opgesomde rechtsvormen kan steeds de rechtsvorm worden aangenomen van een Europese vennootschap (SE) in de zin van Verordening (EG) nr. 2157/2001 van de Raad(1); ( 29) Als alternatief voor de in de punten 1 tot en met 28 opgesomde rechtsvormen kan de rechtsvorm worden aangenomen van een Europese Coöperatieve Vennootschap overeenkomstig Verordening (EG) nr. 1435/2003 van de Raad *, voor zover de betrokken lidstaat toestaat dat een entiteit met de rechtsvorm van een coöperatieve vennootschap schadeverzekeringsactiviteiten ontplooit . * Verordening (EG) nr. 1435/2003 van de Raad van 22 juli 2003 betreffende het statuut voor een Europese Coöperatieve Vennootschap (SCE) (PB L 207 van 18.8.2003, blz. 1).

19. benadrukt dat het statuut van de Europese coöperatieve vennootschap niet aantrekkelijker kan worden gemaakt door normen uit te hollen; is van mening dat het door de hervorming van het statuut mogelijk moet zijn deze vennootschapsvorm binnen de EU beter naar waarde te schatten; benadrukt dat het economisch gewicht, de crisisbestendigheid en de waarden waarop coöperatieve vennootschappen gebaseerd zijn, duidelijk aantonen dat deze vennootschapsvorm vandaag de dag binnen de EU een goede bestaansreden heeft en bijgevolg een herziening van het statuut rechtvaardigt; benadrukt dat transparantie, bescherming van de rechten van de betrokkenen en eerbiediging van de nationale cultuur en traditie centraal moeten staan in de toekomstige Europese acties en maatregelen ten behoeve van de Europese coöperatieve vennootschap; wijst erop dat voor bepaalde nationale coöperatieve vennootschappen de stimulans om het statuut te gebruiken helaas gering is vanwege hun bestaande holdingstructuur; benadrukt dat een fusie van nationale coöperatieve vennootschappen uit verschillende lidstaten moet worden aangemoedigd;
19. Emphasises that the Statute for a European Cooperative Society should not be made more attractive by reducing standards; is of the opinion that the review of the Statute must facilitate a furthering of the recognition of this type of society in the EU; emphasises that the economic weight of cooperative societies, their crisis resilience and the values on which they are based clearly show them to be relevant in the EU of today and justify a revision of the Statute; stresses that future European SCE initiatives and measures must be centred on transparency, protection of stakeholders' rights and respect for national customs and traditions; points out that for certain national cooperatives the incentive to use the Statute is unfortunately limited, because of their existing holding structure; stresses that the option of merging national cooperatives from different Member States should be strengthened;
