TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Artikel 6 — Deze titel is van toepassing op onder Franse bevoegdheid vallende aanbieders van televisieomroepdiensten die op het grondgebied van een staat welke lid van de Europese Unie, partij bij de Overeenkomst betreffende de Europese Economische Ruimte of partij bij de Europese Overeenkomst inzake grensoverschrijdende televisie is, een evenement uitzenden dat door die staat als van aanzienlijk belang wordt beschouwd in de zin van de bepalingen van Richtlijn 89/552/EEG van 3 oktober 1989 en die de uitzendrechten daarvoor na 23 augustus 1997 hebben verworven.
Article 6 — The provisions of this Title shall apply to television services coming under French jurisdiction and broadcasting to another Member State of the European Union, a member country of the European Economic Area or a State which is party to the European Convention on Cross-Border Television an event designated by that State as being of major importance to its society within the meaning of Directive 89/552/EEC of 3 October 1989 and to which they acquired the broadcasting rights after 23 August 1997.

1. Zorgen dat de Kroatische radio en televisie en de programmaraad onafhankelijk kunnen werken en stabiel functioneren tijdens de herziening van de mediawet. Zorgen dat de herziening van de mediawet en de wetgeving inzake laster de Europese normen weerspiegelt als gedefinieerd in artikel 10 van de Europese Overeenkomst inzake grensoverschrijdende televisie en de jurisprudentie van het Europees Hof voor de rechten van de mens.
In particular, review the Electronic Media Act in order to establish a transparent, predictable and effective regulatory framework (including progressive alignment with the EU acquis through the full implementation of the already ratified Convention of the Council of Europe on Transfrontier Television); ensure political and financial independence of the Council for Electronic Media; ensure that Croatian Radio and Television and its Programme Council work independently and remain stable while the Croatian Radio and Television Act is reviewed; ensure that the review of the Media Act and legislation concerning defamation reflects European standards as defined in Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights and the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights.
