IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

Overeenkomstig Beschikking 2005/636/EG van de Commissie van 1 september 2005 betreffende een financiële bijdrage van de Gemeenschap voor een in de lidstaten uit te voeren basisonderzoek naar de prevalentie van Salmonella spp. bij vleeskuikens van Gallus gallus , Beschikking 2006/662/EG van de Commissie van 29 september 2006 betreffende een financiële bijdrage van de Gemeenschap voor een in de lidstaten uit te voeren basisonderzoek naar de prevalentie van salmonella bij kalkoenen en Beschikking 2007/516/EG van de Commissie van 19 juli 2007 betreffende een financiële bijdrage van de Gemeenschap voor een in de lidstaten uit te voeren onderzoek naar de prevalentie en antimicrobiële resistentie van Campylobacter spp. bij koppels vleeskuikens en naar de prevalentie van Campylobacter spp. en Salmonella spp. in vleeskuikenkarkassen werd er informatie verzameld over de prevalentie van salmonella bij respectievelijk koppels vleeskuikens, koppels kalkoenen en vleeskuikenkarkassen.
In accordance with Commission Decision 2005/636/EC of 1 September 2005 concerning a financial contribution of the Community towards a baseline survey on the prevalence of Salmonella spp. in broiler flocks of Gallus gallus to be carried out in the Member States , Commission Decision 2006/662/EC of 29 September 2006 concerning a financial contribution from the Community towards a baseline survey on the prevalence of salmonella in turkeys to be carried out in the Member States and Commission Decision 2007/516/EC of 19 July 2007 concerning a financial contribution from the Community towards a survey on the prevalence and antimicrobial resistance of Campylobacter spp. in broiler flocks and on the prevalence of Campylobacter spp. and Salmonella spp. in broiler carcases to be carried out in the Member States information was collected on the prevalence of salmonella in broiler flocks, turkey flocks and broiler carcases, respectively.

This Decision establishes the maximal amount of the Community financial contribution for 2008, the rate of the Community financial contribution and the conditions on which the contribution may be granted towards expenditure incurred by Greece, Spain and Italy in the framework of projects over EUR 1 000 000 for the purchase and modernisation of patrol vessels and aircraft used for inspection and surveillance of fishing activities.

This Regulation replaces Council Regulation (EC, Euratom) No 99/2000 of 29 December 1999 concerning the provision of assistance to the partner States in Eastern Europe and Central Asia , Council Decision 98/381/EC, Euratom of 5 June 1998 concerning the Community contribution to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the Chernobyl Shelter Fund , and Council Decision 2001/824/EC, Euratom of 16 November 2001 on a further contribution of the European Community to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the Chernobyl Shelter Fund . Those instruments should therefore be repealed.

Commission Decision 2004/840/EC of 30 November 2004 approving programmes for the eradiction and monitoring of certain animal diseases and of checks aimed at the prevention of zoonoses presented by the Member States for the year 2005 and fixing the level of the Community’s financial contribution (3), sets out the maximum amount of the Community’s financial contribution for each programme submitted by the Member States.

1. The Community financial contribution to each of the three objectives referred to in Article 4 shall cover at least 10 % of the EAFRD total contribution to the programme for axis 1 and 3 referred to in Sections 1 and 3 respectively of Chapter I of Title IV and at least 25 % of the EAFRD total contribution to the programme for axis 2 referred to in Section 2 of Chapter I of Title IV. For the programmes of the French overseas departments, the minimum Community financial contribution for axis 2 shall be 10 %.
