Definition: Considerable cultural variations occur in the presentation of this disorder, and two main types occur, with substantial overlap. In one type, the main feature is a complaint of increased fatigue after mental effort, often associated with some decrease in occupational performance or coping efficiency in daily tasks. The mental fatiguability is typically described as an unpleasant intrusion of distracting associations or recollections, difficulty in concentrating, and generally inefficient thinking. In the other type, the emphasis is on feelings of bodily or physical weakness and exhaustion after only minimal effort, accompanied by a feeling of muscular aches and pains and inability to relax. In both types a variety of other unpleasant physical feelings is common, such as dizziness, tension headaches, and feelings of general instability. Worry about decreasing mental and bodily well-being, irritability, anhedonia, and varying minor degrees of both depression and anxiety are all common. Sleep is often disturbed in its initial and middle phases but hypersomnia may also be prominent. | Fatigue syndrome

Omschrijving: Een acute psychotische stoornis waarin hallucinaties, wanen of stoornissen van de waarneming duidelijk merkbaar zijn, maar opvallend wisselend en veranderend van dag tot dag of zelfs van uur tot uur. Emotionele onrust met intense voorbijgaande gevoelens van geluk of extase; angst en prikkelbaarheid zijn eveneens dikwijls aanwezig. De veelvormigheid en instabiliteit zijn typerend voor het algemene klinische beeld en de psychotische kenmerken rechtvaardigen een diagnose van schizofrenie (F20.-) niet. Deze stoornissen hebben dikwijls een abrupt begin, ontwikkelen zich vaak snel in enkele dagen en vertonen dikwijls een snelle oplossing van symptomen zonder herhaling. Definition: An acute psychotic disorder in which hallucinations, delusions or perceptual disturbances are obvious but markedly variable, changing from day to day or even from hour to hour. Emotional turmoil with intense transient feelings of happiness or ecstasy, or anxiety and irritability, is also frequently present. The polymorphism and instability are characteristic for the overall clinical picture and the psychotic features do not justify a diagnosis of schizophrenia (F20.-). These disorders often have an abrupt onset, developing rapidly within a few days, and they frequently show a rapid resolution of symptoms with no recurrence. Omschrijving: Een stoornis die wordt gekenmerkt door een lichte stemmingsverhoging die aanhoudend is, toegenomen energie en activiteit en doorgaans opvallende gevoelens van welbevinden en zowel lichamelijke als geestelijke competentie. Toegenomen gezelligheid, spraakzaamheid, vrijpostigheid, toegenomen seksuele energie en een afgenomen behoefte aan slaap zijn dikwijls aanwezig, maar niet in die mate dat ze op ernstige ontwrichting van werk of sociale afwijzing uitlopen. Prikkelbaarheid, eigenwaan en onbehouwen gedrag kunnen de plaats innemen van de meer gebruikelijke eufore gezelligheid. De verstoringen van stemming en gedrag gaan niet gepaard met hallucinaties of wanen.
Definition: A disorder characterized by a persistent mild elevation of mood, increased energy and activity, and usually marked feelings of well-being and both physical and mental efficiency. Increased sociability, talkativeness, over-familiarity, increased sexual energy, and a decreased need for sleep are often present but not to the extent that they lead to severe disruption of work or result in social rejection. Irritability, conceit, and boorish behaviour may take the place of the more usual euphoric sociability. The disturbances of mood and behaviour are not accompanied by hallucinations or delusions.

In principle, the "specific" or supplementary difficulties which arise may include the following: - the Court handling the case is not the Court of the country in which the consumer is resident; - the legal documents must be requested (letters rogatory) in a country other than that of the adjudicating court; - service of the documents must taken place in a country other than the one in which the complainant is domiciled; - enforcement of the judgment must be required in a country other than that of the adjudicating court.
