J. overwegende dat Amnesty International de heer Poczobut na zijn arrestatie in april 2011 als gewetensgevangene heeft erkend;

19. Commends the Special Rapporteurs on the situation of human rights in the DPRK and on the situation of human rights in Burma/Myanmar for their continued efforts in the conduct of their mandates, and calls for the extension thereof; welcomes the preliminary positive changes in Burma/Myanmar's attitude towards greater cooperation with the Special Procedures and reiterates its call for the release all remaining prisoners of conscience as well as for tangible steps to be taken on the fight against impunity in Burma, notably on the crimes against humanity committed in the ethnic areas;

F. overwegende dat Andrzej Poczobut, journalist van de televisiezender Belsat en het dagblad Gazeta Wyborcza, is gearresteerd en de kans loopt te worden veroordeeld tot twee jaar gevangenisstraf wegens „belediging van de president” in recentelijk door hem gepubliceerde artikelen, overwegende dat dhr. Poczobut door Amnesty International wordt erkend als gewetensgevangene; overwegende dat Iryna Khalip, de vrouw van Andrey Sannikau, ook is gearresteerd en wordt beschuldigd in verband met de demonstraties; overwegende dat zij momenteel onder huisarrest staat en geen contact mag opnemen met haar man,
F. whereas Andrzej Poczobut, a journalist with the Belsat television channel and Gazeta Wyborcza newspaper, has been arrested and is facing up to two years' imprisonment on the charge of ‘insulting the President’ following the articles he published recently; whereas Mr Poczobut is recognised by Amnesty International as a prisoner of conscience; whereas journalist Iryna Khalip, the wife of Andrey Sannikau, has also been arrested and faces charges in connection with the protests; whereas she is currently under house arrest and has been banned from communicating with her husband,
