49. verlangt dat meer inspanningen worden geleverd om het culturele en religieuze erfgoed van Kosovo, en in het bijzonder Servische orthodoxe kerken en kloosters, te beschermen aangezien deze universeel en Europees cultureel erfgoed vertegenwoordigen; dringt in dit verband aan op de doeltreffende implementatie van speciale beschermingszones, onder andere door het beëindigen van de bouw van illegale constructies in de buurt van en binnen de perimeters van dergelijke zones, en door ervoor te zorgen dat zij op duurzame wijze in de plaatselijke gemeenschappen worden geïntegreerd; vraagt aandacht voor de noodzaak van goedkeuring van de wetten inzake de bescherming van Servische middeleeuwse orthodoxe kerken en kloosters, die door Unesco als werelderfgoed zijn erkend, en van het historisch centrum van Prizren en Velika Hoča/Hoça e Madhe; dringt aan op de goedkeuring van de alomvattende lijst van cultureelerfgoedsites die voor bescherming in aanmerking komen, ter waarborging van juridische helderheid en ter voorkoming van dubbelzinnigheid;

Calls for greater efforts to protect Kosovo's cultural and religious heritage, in particular its Serbian Orthodox churches and monasteries, as well as any other monuments representing universal and European cultural heritage; calls, to this end, for effective implementation of Special Protective Zones, i.a. by means of halting illegal constructions around and within the perimeters of such sites and by ensuring that they are integrated in a sustainable way in the local communities; draws attention to the need to adopt the laws on the protection of medieval Serbian Orthodox Church monasteries, designated by Unesco as world cultural heritage, and of the historic centres of Prizren and Velika Hoča/Hoça e Madhe; calls for the adoption of the comprehensive list of cultural heritage sites qualifying for protection, in order to achieve legal clarity and avoid ambiguities;
