De Raad nam nota van informatie over de geslaagde voltooiing van de beëindigingsprocedure voor de Internationale Natuurrubberovereenkomst (INRA) en de Internationale Natuurrubberorganisatie (INRO).
The Council took note of information on the successful completion of the liquidation of the International Natural Rubber Agreement (INRA) and the International Natural Rubber Organisation (INRO).

Sindsdien zijn de aandelen in de buffervoorraad en de administratieve rekeningen teruggestort aan de leden en is de INRO opgeheven.
Since then, the funds in the buffer stocks and administrative accounts have been returned to members and the INRO has been closed down.

The Council noted that the 41st session of the International Rubber Council on 27 September-1 October 1999 had agreed by consensus on the termination of the International Rubber Agreement, and was informed of the preparations of the special session of the INRC on 13-17 December 1999 which will discuss the appropriate duration of the period for the liquidation of the entire organisation, the mandate of the "ad hoc group" which will discuss issues of international cooperation in the field of natural rubber, and the position on current projects set up by the INRO Secretariat.
