erzoekt de Raad, op voorwaarde dat er aanzienlijke vooruitgang wordt geboekt met betrekking tot de nucleaire kwestie, een discussie in gang te zetten over specifieke stappen die kunnen leiden tot een verbetering van de bilaterale betrekkingen tussen de EU en Iran, met inbegrip van een eventueel toekomstig verdragskader voor deze betrekkingen en de ontwikkeling van sectorale samenwerking, waarbij bijvoorbeeld aandacht wordt besteed aan de ontwikkeling van het maatschappelijk middenveld en de private sector in Iran, alsook aan
de bestrijding van drugs (waarbij ...[+++]wordt gewaarborgd dat verdachten een eerlijk proces krijgen en niet tot de doodstraf worden veroordeeld), samenwerking op het gebied van milieu, technologieoverdracht, infrastructurele ontwikkeling en planning, onderwijs en cultuur, bescherming van kinderen en gezondheidszorg, en gemeenschappelijke initiatieven om mensenrechten te bevorderen en te verdedigen; is bezorgd over de mogelijke uitbraak van besmettelijke ziektes, zoals polio en de mazelen, vooral bij kinderen, en dringt er bij de EU op aan de toegang tot relevante medicatie te vergemakkelijken, die anders moeilijk verkrijgbaar is wegens de sancties; 6.
