It only aims at providing - for exceptional reasons in particular linked to the high complexity of the package and the data collection tools needed – an extension of the date of entry into application of the MiFID II by 1 year to provide legal certainty and develop the necessary data collection infrastructures to ensure effective application and enforcement of the new rules by ESMA and NCAs.
