IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

Artikel 10 van het voorstel introduceert de verplichte doorgifte van vermoedens van valsemunterij aan de overeenkomstig Verordening (EG) nr. 1338/2001 opgerichte NAC's en NACM's.
Article 10 of the proposal introduces the obligation of transmission of suspected counterfeits to the NACs and CNACs established in accordance with the Regulation 1338/2001.

Het vervangt Verordening (EG) nr. 1338/2001 van de Raad van 28 juni 2011 tot vaststelling van maatregelen die noodzakelijk zijn voor de bescherming van de euro tegen valsemunterij en gaat daarbij op een aantal punten een stap verder, in het bijzonder wat betreft de sancties, de instrumenten voor het doen van onderzoek naar ernstige gevallen van valsemunterij en de verplichte doorgifte van vermoedens van valsemunterij aan de nationale analysecentra (NAC’s) en de nationale analysecentra voor munten (NACM’s).
It replaces the existing Council Regulation (EC) No 1338/2001 of 28 June 2001 laying down measures necessary for the protection of the euro against counterfeiting and goes beyond the latter in particular regarding the improvement of the penalties regime, the investigative tools for serious counterfeiting offences and the obligation of transmission of suspected counterfeits to National Analysis Centres (NACs) and Coin National Analysis Centres (CNACs).

1. In overeenstemming met de Europese Centrale Bank wordt door de lidstaten overeenkomstig de nationale wetgeving en praktijken een nationaal analysecentrum (NAC) aangewezen of opgericht.
