In dit verband zou een praktische en rendabele oplossing kunnen worden overwogen in de vorm van een EU IPR elektronisch informatiesysteem waarin de bestaande instrumenten worden ondergebracht waarover douanediensten beschikken voor het uitwisselen van informatie over risico's, waarbij de douanediensten via hyperlinks toegang wordt geboden tot de verschillende specifieke databanken op het gebied van intellectuele-eigendomsrechten (zoals het Bureau voor de harmonisatie van de interne markt – OHIM).
In this context, a practical and cost-effective solution could be envisaged in the form of an EU IPR electronic information system bringing together the existing tools for customs to exchange risk information with the possibility for customs to access via hyperlinks the various specific Intellectual property databases (such as the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market – OHIM).
