IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

De eerste jaarlijkse ontmoetingen vonden plaats op 5 en 8 november 2001 en boden de Commissie de mogelijkheid met de beheersautoriteiten een diepgaande discussie aan te gaan over een aantal belangrijke punten bij de tenuitvoerlegging van de programma's. Meer in het bijzonder ging het om de gelijkwaardigheid van de administratieve en uitvoerende diensten bij de beheers- en betalingsautoriteiten; het binnen de in het CB vastgestelde termijn opstellen van regionale strategieën op verschillende gebieden, zoals vervoer, de informatiemaatschappij, onderzoek, innovatie en milieu en de uitbreiding van de controle- en toezichtsystemen.
The first annual meetings were held from 5 to 8 November and the Commission was able to discuss in depth with the managing authorities the critical points of implementation, the appropriateness of the administrative and operational structures of the managing and paying authorities, implementation in the time allowed by the CSF of the regional strategies in several fields such as transport, the information society, research and innovation, the environment and improved monitoring and inspection systems.

5. 5. A Member State which receives a sighting report reporting the activities of a fishing vessel flying its flag from the competent authority of a contracting party of a regional fisheries management organisation shall notify the report and all relevant information as soon as possible to the Commission or to the body designated by it, which shall thereupon forward this information to the Executive Secretary of the regional fisheries management organisation concerned for further action in accordance with the measures adopted by this organisation, as appropriate.

De Commissie of de door de Commissie aangewezen instantie zendt het waarnemingsverslag vervolgens door aan alle lidstaten en, waar dat passend is, aan de uitvoerend secretaris van de relevante regionale visserijorganisaties met het oog op verdere maatregelen in overeenstemming met de door die organisaties vastgestelde maatregelen.
The Commission or a body designated by it shall thereupon transmit the sighting report to all the Member States and, as appropriate, to the Executive Secretary of the relevant regional fisheries management organisations for further action in accordance with the measures adopted by those organisations.

Zodra Bulgarije de nodige corrigerende maatregelen heeft genomen om het financiële beheer te verbeteren en de controlesystemen te versterken, is de Commissie bereid haar besluit tot intrekking van de accreditering van deze twee uitvoerende instanties te herroepen. As soon as Bulgaria has taken the necessary corrective measures to improve financial management and tighten control systems, the Commission is prepared to reverse its decision to withdraw the accreditation of the two implementing agencies concerned, namely the Central Financing and Contracting Unit and the Implementing Agency at the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Work.
