TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Overeenkomstig de artikelen 10 en 11 van het Verdrag betreffende de Europese Unie, heeft iedere burger het recht aan het democratisch bestel van de Unie deel te nemen, en dienen de instellingen van de Unie de burgers en de representatieve organisaties de mogelijkheid te bieden hun mening over alle onderdelen van het optreden van de Unie kenbaar te maken en daarover in het openbaar in discussie te treden, alsook een open, transparante en regelmatige dialoog met representatieve organisaties en met het maatschappelijk middenveld te voeren.Met de mededeling van de Commissie van 3 maart 2010„Europe 2020 — A strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth”, streven de Unie en de lidstaten ernaar om de komende tien jaar te zorgen voor groei, werkgelegenheid, productiviteit en sociale cohesie.Hoewel het burgerschap van de Unie met vastgelegde rechten objectief een meerwaarde biedt, weet de Unie niet altijd doeltreffend de aandacht te vestigen op het verband tussen haar beleid en de oplossing voor een breed scala aan economische en sociale problemen.
In line with Articles 10 and 11 of the Treaty on European Union, every citizen has the right to participate in the democratic life of the Union and the Union's institutions should give citizens and representative associations the opportunity to make known and publicly exchange their views in all areas of Union action, as well as maintain an open, transparent and regular dialogue with representative associations and civil society.With the Commission Communication of 3 March 2010 entitled ‘Europe 2020 — A strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth’, the Union and the Member States aim at delivering growth, employment, productivity and social cohesion for the coming decade.While there is objectively an added value in being a Union citizen with established rights, the Union does not always highlight in an effective way the link between the solution to a broad range of economic and social problems and the Union's policies.
