In bijlage II bij die verordening wordt voorgeschreven dat exploitanten van een levensmiddelenbedrijf die een slachthuis beheren, de informatie over de voedselketen aangaande alle andere dieren dan vrij wild die naar het slachthuis worden gebracht of daarvoor bestemd zijn, moeten opvragen, ontvangen, controleren en er actief gebruik van maken.
