Omschrijving: Syndromen waarin het overheersende symptoom een of andere tic is. Een tic is een onwillekeurige, snelle, herhaalde, niet-ritmische motorische-beweging (doorgaans door welomschreven spiergroepen) of vocale uiting die plotseling begint en geen duidelijk doel dient. Common complex vocal tics include the repetition of particular words, and sometimes the use of socially unacceptable (often obscene) words (coprolalia), and the repetition of one's own sounds or words (palilalia).
