Van de niet-vertegenwoordigde burger dient te worden verlangd dat hij een verbintenis ondertekent om de gemaakte kosten aan zijn lidstaat van nationaliteit terug te betalen, op voorwaarde dat onderdanen van de bijstandverlenende lidstaat er in dezelfde situatie toe worden verplicht deze kosten aan hun eigen lidstaat terug te betalen.

1. De niet-vertegenwoordigde burgers verbinden zich ertoe de kosten van de consulaire bescherming terug te betalen aan hun lidstaat van nationaliteit onder dezelfde voorwaarden als de onderdanen van de bijstandverlenende lidstaat, met gebruikmaking van het standaardformulier in bijlage I. Het aan het Parlement verschuldigde bedrag bedraagt volgens de eerste overweging van de considerans van het bestreden besluit 176 576 euro, en aangezien verzoeker reeds op zich had genomen 58 155,82 euro terug te betalen in maandelijkse termijnen van 3 000 euro (zie punt 47 hierboven), bedraagt het terug te betalen bedrag 118 360,18 euro.
According to the first recital of the contested decision, the amount owing to the Parliament is EUR 176 576 and, as the applicant had already repaid EUR 58 155.82 in monthly instalments of EUR 3 000 (see paragraph 47 above), the amount repayable is EUR 118 360.18.
