Calls on the Commission in the context of the chapter on trade and sustainable development to require from the US full compliance with multilateral environmental agreements, such as, inter alia, the Montreal Protocol (ozone), the Basel Convention (trans-boundary shipments of hazardous waste), the Stockholm Convention (persistent organic pollutants), the Rotterdam Convention (trade in hazardous chemicals and pesticides), the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, the Convention on Biological Diversity, and the Kyoto Protocol, before agreeing to regulatory cooperation on these matters;
