Despite the fact that the EU has made considerable financial aid available for the reconstruction of Bosnia and Herzegovina and other regions of former Yugoslavia devastated by the war, especially Eastern Slavonia (Croatia) - see Annex 1, there is still, as the Dayton peace agreement enters its third year, very little visible evidence of reconstruction and the establishment of normal living conditions.
