Om de standpunten van de delegaties over de controversiële kwestie « diensten op het gebied van seksuele en reproductieve gezondheid » meer op elkaar af te stemmen, werd op initiatief van de voorzitter van het ad hoc comité een voetnoot ingelast. Deze luidt als volgt : « The ad hoc Committee note that the use of the phrase « sexual and reproductive health services » would not constitute recognition of any new international law obligations or human rights».
Afin de rapprocher les positions des délégations sur la question controversée des « services de santé sexuelle et génésique », le président du comité ad hoc a pris l'initiative de faire insérer une note de bas de page, rédigée comme suit: « The ad hoc Committee notes that the use of the phrase « sexual and reproductive health services » would not constitute recognition of any new international law obligations or human rights».

Tijdens de besprekingen werd wat betreft de bescherming en proceduremogelijkheden van « whistleblowers » zeer ver gegaan, en dit gebaseerd op de wetgeving in de VS, die in bepaalde gevallen de klokkenluider een deel van het door zijn toedoen gerecupereerde geld toekent (zie het Report of the Ad Hoc Committee for the Negotiation of a Convention against Corruption on the work of its first to seventh sessions, A/58/422, 7 oktober 2003, nr. 42)
Au cours des discussions, on est allé très loin en ce qui concerne la protection des dénonciateurs d'abus et les possibilités procédurales dont ils peuvent bénéficier, et ce, en s'inspirant de la législation américaine qui accorde, dans certains cas, aux informateurs, une partie des fonds qui ont été récupérés grâce à eux (voir le Rapport du Comité spécial chargé de négocier une convention contre la corruption sur les travaux de ses première à septième sessions, A/58/422, 7 octobre 2003, nº 42).

B. overwegende dat de Palestijnse Nationale Autoriteit haar plan voor de opbouw van een staat, met als titel "Palestine: Ending occupation, Establishing the State" ("Palestina: de bezetting beëindigen, de staat oprichten"), met succes heeft uitgevoerd; overwegende dat het ad hoc-verbindingscomité ("Ad Hoc Liaison Committee", AHLC) tijdens zijn vergadering van 13 april 2011 in Brussel zijn tevredenheid heeft uitgesproken over de beoordeling van de Wereldbank, het IMF en de VN dat de Palestijnse Autoriteit zich boven de drempel voor een functionerende staat bevindt in de kernsectoren die deze instanties hebben onderzocht en dat de Palestijnse instellingen gunstig afsteken bij die van gevestigde staten;
B. considérant que l'Autorité nationale palestinienne a mis en oeuvre avec succès son plan de mise en place d'un État (Palestine: arrêt de l'occupation, mise en place de l'État), que le comité de liaison ad hoc qui s'est réuni à Bruxelles le 13 avril 2011 s'est félicité de l'évaluation de la Banque mondiale, du FMI et des Nations unies selon laquelle l'Autorité palestinienne a franchi le seuil d'un État apte à fonctionner dans les domaines clé à l'examen et que les institutions palestiniennes n'ont rien à envier à celles d'États bien établis,
