Bien que les investisseurs étrangers rencontrent encore quelques obstacles, le climat actuel des investissements présente d'importants aspects positifs: on peut citer la bonne situation géographique, des salaires relativement bas, un taux d'imposition des bénéfices d'exploitation particulièrement faible, la stabilité monétaire, la stabilité macro-économique, un excellent potentiel agro-industriel, l'offre d'une main d'œuvre qualifiée, un système d'éducation dont le niveau est plus qu'honorable, la modernisation progressive de la réglementation économique et la volonté politique de la majeure partie de l'élite politique serbo-monténégrine d'intégrer le pays dans les structures de coopération euro-atlantiques.

Deze landen hebben buitenlandse directe investeringen (BDI) aangetrokken en zijn nu zelf belangrijke wereldwijde investeerders.
Ces pays ont attiré des investissements directs étrangers (IDE) et sont eux‑mêmes devenus aujourd’hui des investisseurs internationaux clés.

Hierdoor heeft het land een stabiel investeringsklimaat, dat politiek gericht is op het aantrekken van buitenlandse investeerders : horeca, off-shore produkten met banking en herverzekering (aanvankelijk gericht op Aziatische gemeenschap in Afrika maar nu wereldwijd), en industrieën in de EPZ (Export Producing Zone) waar vooral textiel domineert (Floreal, 2de groep breigoed ter wereld).
Le pays offre dès lors un climat d'investissement stable, axé politiquement sur l'attraction d'investisseurs étrangers: horeca, produits bancaires et de réassurance extraterritoriaux (axés au départ sur la communauté asiatique en Afrique mais désormais à vocation mondiale), et industries dans la ZPE (Zone de Production pour l'Exportation) où les textiles sont prédominants (Floréal, 2 groupe mondial du tricot).
