Demande à toutes les parties à un conflit armé de respecter pleinement le droit international applicable aux droits et à la protection des femmes et petites filles, en particulier en tant que personnes civiles, notamment les obligations qui leur incombent en vertu des Conventions de Genève de 1949 et des Protocoles additionnels y afférents de 1977, de la Convention de 1951 relative au statut des réfugiés et de son Protocole additionnel de 1967, de la Convention de 1979 sur l'élimination de toutes les formes de discrimination à l'égard des femmes et de son Protocole facultatif de 1999, ainsi que de la Convention des Nations Unies relative aux droits de l'enfant de 1989 et de ses deux Protocoles facultatifs du 25 mai 2000, et de tenir compte des dispositions pertinentes du Statut de Rome de la Cour pénale internationale;

18. verzoekt de VV/HV met klem zich in te zetten voor de volledige uitvoering van de aanbevelingen in het verslag van de onafhankelijke onderzoekscommissie van de VN over het conflict in de Gazastrook in 2014, met inbegrip van de aanbevelingen om de activiteiten van het Internationaal Strafhof actief te ondersteunen; verwelkomt het feit dat de EU-lidstaten die lid zijn van de VN-Mensenrechtenraad met eenparigheid goedkeuring hebben gehecht aan de resolutie van deze raad van 3 juli 2015 getiteld "Ensuring accountability and justice for all violations of international law in the Occupied Palestinian Territory including East Jerusalem";
18. prie instamment la VP/HR d'œuvrer à l'application intégrale des recommandations formulées dans le rapport de la commission d'enquête indépendante des Nations unies sur le conflit de 2014 à Gaza, notamment celle de soutenir activement les travaux de la Cour pénale internationale; salue le vote unanime des États membres de l'Union qui font partie du Conseil des droits de l'homme des Nations unies en faveur de la résolution de ce Conseil du 3 juillet 2015 intitulée "Assurer la reddition de comptes et la justice pour toutes les violations du droit international dans les territoires palestiniens occupés, y compris à Jérusalem-Est";

Having regard to the fundamental principles of the 1972 UNESCO Convention concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage and the decisions of the World Heritage Committee, the Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict (The Hague, 14 May 1954) at its latest session in Vilnius in 2006, recalls the need to safeguard the sites on the UNESCO World Heritage List and the UNESCO List of World Heritage in Danger in territories affected by current conflicts, with particular reference to the recent development in the Old City of Jerusalem, fully respecting the communities living there and in compliance with international law; in this context welcomes the decision of the Director-General of UNESCO, Koïchiro Matsuura, to send a technical fact-finding mission to the Old City of Jerusalem, and welcomes the report issued by UNESCO on March 12, 2007 at the end of its mission,
15. ayant rappelé les principes fondamentaux de la Convention UNESCO de 1972, concernant la protection du patrimoine mondial, culturel et naturel, la Convention pour la protection des biens culturels en cas de conflit armé (La Haye, 14 mai 1954) ainsi que les décisions du Comité du patrimoine mondial lors de sa dernière session à Vilnius en 2006, rappelle la nécessité de protéger les sites, inscrits sur la Liste du patrimoine mondial et sur la Liste du patrimoine mondial en péril de l'UNESCO, situés sur les territoires intéressés par les conflits actuellement en cours, notamment le développement récent dans la Vieille Ville de Jérusalem, dans le plein respect des communautés résidentes et du droit international; dans ce contexte, accueille avec faveur la décision du Directeur général de l'UNESCO, Koïchiro Matsuura, d'envoyer une mission technique dans la Vieille Ville de Jérusalem, et accueillit le rapport mis à point le 12 mars 2007 par l'UNESCO à l'issue de sa mission,
