2. As concerns were raised internationally regarding the nature and objectives of the works undertaken by the Israeli authorities, the Director-General decided to dispatch a technical mission to Jerusalem to study the reconstruction work and archaeological excavation of the Mughrabi ascent leading to the access to the Haram es-Sharif and to report to him on its findings.

Devant les préoccupations exprimées au plan international concernant la nature et aux objectifs des travaux entrepris par les autorités israéliennes, le Directeur général a décidé de dépêcher à Jérusalem une mission technique chargée d'étudier les travaux de reconstruction et les fouilles archéologiques de la montée des Maghrébins conduisant à l'accès au Haram ash-Sharif et de lui remettre ses conclusions à ce sujet.
