At its first ordinary meeting to be held after the entry into force of the Treaty of Lisbon, COSAC congratulates Mr. Herman Van Rompuy on his appointment as President of the European Council, and Baroness Catherine Ashton on her appointment as High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission.
