Un montant de 200.000 (deux cent mille) euros est accordée à l'Organisation Internationale pour les Migrations (OIM) pour la prise en charge des dépenses de l'organisation du projet "Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration to their countries of origin for irregular migrants stranded in Morocco".

Een bedrag van 200.000 (tweehonderd duizend) euro wordt toegekend aan Internationale Organisatie voor Migratie (IOM) voor het ten laste nemen van de uitgaven van de organisatie van het project " Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration to their countries of origin for irregular migrants stranded in Morocco" .

À la veille du vingtième anniversaire de la Convention de l'ONU sur la protection des droits des travailleurs migrants et des membres de leur famille, cette hiérarchisation est totalement inacceptable: l'Union doit enfin intégrer les conclusions des nombreuses études qui démontrent que les bénéfices individuels comme collectifs, économiques comme sociétaux, pour les sociétés d'accueil comme celles d'origine, vont de pair avec un exercice plein et effectif par les migrants de leurs droits.

As for the realisation of the pilot project, training activities were set up in Italy and in the community of origin of the migrants, with their participation as mediators and trainers.

During the high level meeting in Bamako, "the Parties agreed to support the creation by le Mali of the Migration Information and Management Centre". The general objective is the definition and implementation by Mali of a migratory policy adapted to the regional and European policies and dynamics. The specific objective is the setting up of the Migration Information and Management Centre which will implement and coordinate the various elements of Mali's migration policy. The expected results are (i) definition and implementation of an information and communication strategy on the legal conditions for migration and the prevention of irregular migration, (ii) putting in place a mechanism for welcoming, orientating and accompanying potential migrants (iii) putting in place a service for welcoming, orientating and accompanying returnees (iv) productively using the human, financial and technical capital lof the diaspora (v) knowledge and analysis of the migratory flows of relevance to Mali (vi) coordination of the various hierarchical structures so that they can properly steer the above-mentioned components.
