Was immer sie gedacht haben, ich finde es jedenfalls gut, dass sich die Parlamentarier seit 1989 zweimal jährlich zusammenfinden, um gemeinsam über europapolitischeThemen zu diskutieren und damit auch die Bürgernähe Europas ein Stück weit zu symbolisieren.
Whatever they were thinking, I for one believe that the biannual meeting of parliamentarians, a tradition since 1989, is a good thing. It is a chance to discuss issues of European policy and thus to show some of Europe's citizen-friendliness.
