Het PETROBOT-initiatief komt voort uit een OO-programma dat Shell Global Solutions International B.V., een onderdeel van Royal Dutch Shell plc, heeft uitgevoerd met ondersteuning van Quasset B.V., een Nederlands mkb-bedrijf met expertise op het gebied van de ontwikkeling van keuringstechnologie.
Le projet PETROBOT est né d’un programme de RD réalisé par Shell Global Solutions International B.V., une structure de l’entreprise Royal Dutch Shell Plc, avec le soutien de Quasset B.V., une entreprise néerlandaise spécialisée dans la conception de techniques de diagnostic.
