Takes into account the major role of the parliaments in creation of political climate for conflict prevention and settlement, amongst others by developing democracy and protection of Human Rights, and underlines the need to enhance activities of the OSCE PA and to elaborate respective mechanisms, facilitating prevention of conflicts, peaceful and political management of crises and post conflict rehabilitation and also strengthening of peace and stability in region;

7. The journalist shall be aware of the danger of discrimination being furthered by the media, and shall do the utmost to avoid facilitating such discrimination based on, among other things, race, sex, sexual orientation, language, political or other opinions and national or social origins.

L'avis des hauts fonctionnaires a été sollicité pour les points suivants: a) Faut-il exclure de l'éligibilité à l'APD toute aide destinée à toute formation de militaires, quelle qu'elle soit? b) Des formations spécifiquement non-militaires destinées à des militaires de pays hôtes peuvent-elles être éligible s à VAPD: Human right norms and principles of democratic governance; Activities that promote political, institutional and financial accountability, civilian oversight, and transparency, and/or Mine clearance or other functions with civilian ODA-purposes?
