In de « Maastricht Recommendations on Promoting Effective Public Participation in Decision-making in Environmental Matters » (Aanbevelingen van Maastricht voor het bevorderen van daadwerkelijke inspraak in besluitvorming in milieuaangelegenheden), die in januari 2015 zijn opgesteld door de voormelde Taskforce inzake inspraak in besluitvorming, wordt aanbevolen om, ondanks de ontstentenis van een uitdrukkelijke bepaling in die zin in het Verdrag, bij de toepassing van artikel 6, eerste lid, onderdeel a), van het Verdrag :
Dans les « Recommandations de Maastricht sur les moyens de promouvoir la participation effective du public au processus décisionnel en matière d'environnement », élaborées en janvier 2015 par l'Equipe spéciale de la participation du public au processus décisionnel précitée, il est recommandé qu'en dépit de l'absence de disposition expresse en ce sens dans la Convention, lors de l'application de l'article 6, paragraphe 1, point a), de la Convention :

5. a) Compte tenu notamment des « Recommandations de Maastricht sur les moyens de promouvoir la participation effective du public au processus décisionnel en matière d'environnement » à l'égard d'un processus décisionnel à étapes multiples, les articles 2 et 6, combinés avec l'annexe I. 1 de la Convention d'Aarhus, doivent-ils être interprétés comme s'appliquant préalablement à l'adoption d'un acte législatif tel que la loi du 28 juin 2015 « modifiant la loi du 31 janvier 2003 sur la sortie progressive de l'énergie nucléaire à des fins de production industrielle d'électricité afin de garantir la sécurité d'approvisionnement sur le plan énergétique », dont l'article 2 reporte la date de la désactivation et de la fin de la production industrielle d'électricité des centrales nucléaires de Doel 1 et Doel 2 ?

38. Recommends that the local government institutions encourage members of national minorities to maintain their cultural and social heritage and institutions, and to create the conditions necessary for the effective participation of persons belonging to minorities in public life at the local level;

Recommande aux institutions gouvernementales locales d'encourager les membres des minorités nationales à préserver leur patrimoine et leurs institutions culturelles et sociales, et de créer les conditions nécessaires à une participation efficace à la vie publique, au niveau local, des personnes qui appartiennent à des minorités;

18. Recommends that the General Committee on Political Affairs and Security study, in the manner it deems appropriate, the challenges that the Afghanistan situation poses for security in the OSCE zone, and the terms and conditions for any intensification of cooperation with Afghanistan's representatives in the Parliamentary Assembly, in order to support the country's reconstruction and thus promote greater security for the people of Afghanistan and the peoples of all the participating States.
18. Recommande à la Commission générale des affaires politiques et de la sécurité d'examiner, de la manière qu'elle jugera appropriée, les défis que pose la situation en Afghanistan pour la sécurité dans la zone de l'OSCE, ainsi que les modalités et conditions d'une intensification éventuelle de la collaboration avec les représentants de l'Afghanistan à l'Assemblée parlementaire, afin de soutenir la reconstruction du pays et ainsi favoriser une plus grande sécurité pour la population de l'Afghanistan et celle de l'ensemble des États participants.

12. Encourages the participating States to create a climate of confidence propitious for the installation of a public/private partnership in this field via responsible dialogue with the air freight industry both within the participating States and between the OSCE and the competent international organizations (World Customs Organization (WCO), International Air Transport Association (IATA)), in order to determine the type of measures to be recommended on this subject with regard to the existing standards and the economic imperatives affecting the air freight industry;
12. Encourage les États participants à créer un climat de confiance propice à la mise en place d'un partenariat public/privé dans ce domaine grâce à un dialogue responsable avec l'industrie du transport aérien de marchandises tant au sein des États participants qu'entre l'OSCE et les organisations internationales compétentes (Organisation mondiale des douanes, OMD), Organisation internationale de l'aviation civile, IATA), en vue de déterminer le type de mesures à préconiser à ce sujet au regard des normes existantes et des impératifs économiques afférents à l'industrie du transport aérien de marchandises;
