Reiterates the importance for the Republic of Moldova to adhere to the principles of democracy, the protection of human rights and the rule of law, including the independence of the judiciary, notes in this respect the controversial court decision against Valeriu Pasat, which raises concerns from the viewpoint of internationally accepted standards of justice, and recommends that the Parliamentary Team on Moldova explore thoroughly the legal and human rights aspects of the Pasat case and inform the Assembly of its findings;

Calls upon all parties to armed conflict to respect fully international law applicable to the rights and protection of women and girls, especially as civilians, in particular the obligations applicable to them under the Geneva Conventions of 1949 and the Additional Protocols thereto of 1977, the Refugee Convention of 1951 and the Protocol thereto of 1967, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women of 1979 and the Optional Protocol thereto of 1999 and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child of 1989 and the two Optional Protocols thereto of 25 May 2000, and to bear in mind the relevant provisions of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court;
9. Demande à toutes les parties à un conflit armé de respecter pleinement le droit international applicable aux droits et à la protection des femmes et petites filles, en particulier en tant que personnes civiles, notamment les obligations qui leur incombent en vertu des Conventions de Genève de 1949 et des Protocoles additionnels y afférents de 1977, de la Convention de 1951 relative au statut des réfugiés et de son Protocole additionnel de 1967, de la Convention de 1979 sur l'élimination de toutes les formes de discrimination à l'égard des femmes et de son Protocole facultatif de 1999, ainsi que de la Convention des Nations Unies relative aux droits de l'enfant de 1989 et de ses deux Protocoles facultatifs du 25 mai 2000, et de tenir compte des dispositions pertinentes du Statut de Rome de la Cour pénale internationale;

Artikel 6, 1º, van het Aanvullende Protocol op het genoemde verdrag luidt als volgt : « Each party shall adopt such legislative measures as may be necessary to establish the following conduct as criminal offences under its domestic law, when committed intentionally and without right : distributing or otherwise making available, through a computer system to the public, material which denies, grossly minimises, approves or justifies acts constituting genocide or crimes against humanity, as defined by international law and recognised as such by final and binding decisions of the International Military Tribunal, established by the London Agreement of 8 August 1945, or any other international court established by relevant international instruments and whose juridisction is recognised by that party».
L'article 6, 1º, du Protocole additionnel à la Convention sur la cybercriminalité invite les Parties à adopter les mesures législatives qui se révèlent nécessaires pour ériger en infractions pénales, dans leur droit interne, lorsqu'ils sont commis intentionnellement et sans droit, les comportements suivants: la diffusion ou les autres formes de mise à disposition du public, par le biais d'un système informatique, de matériel qui nie, minimise de manière grossière, approuve ou justifie des actes constitutifs de génocide ou de crime contre l'humanité, tels que définis par le droit international et reconnus comme tels par une décision finale et définitive du Tribunal militaire international, établi par l'Accord de Londres du 8 août 1945, ou par tout autre tribunal international établi par des instruments internationaux pertinents et dont la juridiction a été reconnue par cette Partie.
