Op 15 juni 2016 was dit als spreker in het panel "Digital technologies' contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals", waar ik heb kunnen verwijzen naar mijn pioniersinitiatief betreffende de toepassing van de digitale know-how ten bate van ontwikkelingssamenwerkingsprogramma's. Op 16 juni 2016 was ik moderator/animator in het panel "Building win-win partnerships for women's and girls' economic empowerment".
Ce fut en tant qu'intervenant, le 15 juin 2016, au cours du panel intitulé "Digital technologies' contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals", pendant lequel j'ai pu rappeler mon initiative pionnière en matière d'application du savoir-faire numérique au profit de programmes de coopération au développement et, en tant que modérateur/animateur, le 16 juin 2016, durant le panel intitulé "Building win-win partnerships for women's and girls' economic empowerment".

Eén van de belangrijke thema's is hierbij is de aanpassing van het voorontwerp van nationale strategie aan het nieuwe kader voor duurzame ontwikkeling dat er in september dit jaar aankomt: the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's).
Une des thématiques importantes est l'adaptation de l'avant-projet de la stratégie nationale au nouveau cadre du développement durable, qui sera établi en septembre cette année: the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's).

De Belgische delegatie heeft deelgenomen aan de volgende nevenactiviteiten: - "ODA and fragile environments: the shift of development finance and assistance in the Post 2015 agenda"; - "Global Partnerships for a Transformative Agenda for the LDCs"; - "Advancing financial inclusion in Africa through digital financial services"; - "Financing development through decent work"; - "Role of science, technology and innovation for achieving sustainable development and supporting the implementation of the Post 2015 development agenda"; - Overleg met de francofonie: welke financiering voor duurzame ontwikkeling?; - "Resource mobilization in countries affected by conflict and fragility - its impact on peace and stability"; - "Dealing with vulture funds in sovereign debt workouts"; - "The role of data standards in mobilizing and monitoring financing for development commitments"; - "International support to Domestic Resource Mobilization - Addis Tax Initiative"; - "Harnessing the data revolution for sustainable development".

8. a) Op 19 februari 2016 initieerde Zuid-Afrika op vraag van de South African Poultry Association (SAPA), een procedure onder de vrijwaringsclausule voor landbouwproducten van het bilaterale Akkoord tussen de EU en Zuid-Afrika (Agreement on Trade, Development and Cooperation between the EU and the Republic of South Africa, TDCA).
8. a) Le 19 février 2016, à la demande de la South African Poultry Association (SAPA), l'Afrique du Sud a initié une procédure au titre de la clause de sauvegarde pour les produits agricoles telle que prévue dans l'accord bilatéral entre l'UE et l'Afrique du Sud (Agreement on Trade, Development and Cooperation between the EU and the Republic of South Africa, TDCA).

Voor de legislatuur 2014-2020 voorziet het European Development Fund 745 miljoen euro voor "the objectives of increasing resilience, accompanying reforms and promoting sustained economic growth".
