Considers that identification of the special legal status for the Transdniestrian region in the composition of the Republic of Moldova while consolidating and ensuring the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova constitutes the major aim of the Transdniestrian dispute settlement process;

Calls on all parties involved to make additional efforts to establish an International Mission tasked to assess conditions with respect to democratization and democratic institutions in the Transdniestrian region in order to hold democratic elections in the region under international control, on the basis of the OSCE's standards of democratic elections, as they are reflected in the legislation of the Republic of Moldova;

Invite toutes les parties concernées à faire de nouveaux efforts pour mettre en place une mission internationale chargée d'évaluer les conditions en ce qui concerne la démocratisation et les institutions démocratiques dans la région transnistrienne afin que des élections démocratiques soient organisées dans la région, sous contrôle international, en se fondant sur les normes de l'OSCE en matière d'élections démocratiques telles qu'elles se reflètent dans la législation de la République de Moldova;
