Een conduit, ook onderneming met een bijzonder doel (special purpose vehicle) of investeringsvehikel (special investment vehicle — SIV) genoemd, is een vennootschap (in de regel een soort vennootschap met beperkte aansprakelijkheid of in sommige gevallen een commanditaire vennootschap), die met zeer specifieke, vast omlijnde doelstellingen van tijdelijke aard wordt opgericht, meestal bedoeld om financiële risico’s af te zonderen (normaal gesproken faillissement, maar soms ook een bepaald fiscaal of toezichtrechtelijk risico).
Un fonds d’investissement spécial (conduit), également appelé société à finalité spécifique (special purpose vehicle) ou véhicule d’investissement spécialisé (special investment vehicle, SIV), est une société (en général, un type de société à responsabilité limitée ou, parfois, une société en commandite) créée dans un but très spécifique, strictement défini et limité dans le temps, pour éliminer des risques qui sont généralement de nature financière (normalement une faillite, parfois aussi un certain risque fiscal ou en rapport avec la législation prudentielle).
