(14) In order to ensure the correct application of this Regulation, it is necessary to provide with a rapid and efficient exchange of information about means of identification and related documents between Member States. Community provisions relating thereto have been established by Council Regulation (EC) No 515/97 of 13 March 1997 on mutual assistance between the administrative authorities of the Member States and co-operation between the latter and the Commission to ensure the correct application of the law on customs and agricultural matters and by Council Directive 89/608/EEC of 21 November 1989 on mutual assistance between the administrative authorities of the Member States and co-operation between the latter and the Commission to ensure the correct application of legislation on veterinary and zootechnical matters.

This Article shall not apply where one of the undertakings to be consolidated is a company whose securities are admitted to trading on a regulated market of any Member State within the meaning of Article 1(13) of Council Directive 93/22/EEC of 10 May 1993 on investment services in the securities field(13)".

The support arrangements introduced by this Regulation replace the arrangements provided for by Council Regulation (EC) No 2038/1999 of 13 September 1999 on the common organisation of the markets in the sugar sector, which must be repealed along with Regulations (EEC) No 206/68, (EEC) No 431/68, (EEC) No 447/68, (EEC) No 2049/69, (EEC) No 793/72, (EEC) No 741/75 and (EEC) No 193/82 laying down the general rules for its implementation.
Le régime de soutien institué par le présent règlement remplace le régime prévu par le règlement (CE) nº 2038/1999 du Conseil, du 13 septembre 1999, portant organisation commune des marchés dans le secteur du sucre qui doit être abrogé avec les règlements (CEE) nº 206/68, (CEE) nº 431/68, (CEE) nº 447/68, (CEE) nº 2049/69, (CEE) nº 793/72, (CEE) nº 741/75, et (CEE) nº 193/82, édictant les règles générales pour sa mise en œuvre.

6. Expresses its satisfaction at the fact that, on 15 October 1997, the Commission began infringement proceedings against 13 Member States which had failed to adopt (and/or notify the Commission of) waste disposal plans pursuant to Article 7 of Directive 75/442/EEC; welcomes the start of infringement proceedings by the Commission against three other Member States which have not fully transposed Directive 75/439/EEC, as amended by Directive 87/101/EEC, on the disposal of waste oils;
6. se félicite de ce que la Commission ait engagé le 15 octobre 1997 des procédures d'infraction contre treize États membres qui n'ont pas adopté et/ou n'ont pas notifié à la Commission des plans de gestion des déchets conformément à l'article 7 de la directive 75/442/CEE; accueille favorablement l'engagement de procédures d'infraction par la Commission à l'encontre de trois autres États membres qui n'ont pas transposé de manière complète la directive 75/439/CEE modifiée par la directive 87/101/CEE concernant l'élimination des huiles usagées;
