The Commission has also decided to send the Italian authorities a reasoned opinion on the grounds that the rules of the Aero Club centrale di volo a vela (central gliding club) are incompatible with the EC Treaty. Article 17 of these rules stipulates that membership of the elective bodies is restricted to Italian nationals.
La Commission a également décidé d'envoyer à l'Italie un avis motivé en raison de l'incompatibilité avec le Traité CE du Statut de l’Aero club central de vol à voile qui requiert, dans son article 17, la nationalité italienne pour pouvoir accéder à des organes électifs de cette entité.
