This enactment amends the National Capital Act to (a) provide for the establishment of the boundaries of Gatineau Park; (b) provide a process for enlarging the boundaries of Gatineau Park; (c) prohibit the sale of federal public lands situated in Gatineau Park; (d) recognize that one of the objects and purposes of the National Capital Commission is to acquire privately owned real properties or provincial properties situated in Gatineau Park; and (e) require the owners of real property situated in Gatineau Park to give the National Capital Commission a right of first refusal on the sale of the property.
