H. whereas the Commission has given assurances that respect for European food safety, human, plant and animal health, animal welfare, and environmental and consumer protection standards will be a fundamental and uncompromisable tenet of the negotiations for European agriculture and will confirm and strengthen the EU standards within an open, fair, modern and global trade policy system;
H. considérant que la Commission a assuré que le respect des normes européennes en matière de sécurité alimentaire, de santé humaine, végétale et animale et de protection des consommateurs constituerait un principe fondamental et incontournable des négociations pour l'agriculture européenne et confirmerait et renforcerait les normes européennes dans le cadre d'un système de politique commerciale ouvert, équitable, moderne et mondial;
