During its meeting on 18 June 2008, the Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health agreed on a Commission staff working document entitled ‘Guidance document on the minimum requirements for Salmonella control programmes to be recognised equivalent to those approved for Sweden and Finland in respect of meat and eggs of Gallus gallus’ (the ‘Guidance document’).
Lors de sa réunion du 18 juin 2008, le comité permanent de la chaîne alimentaire et de la santé animale a marqué son accord sur un document de travail des services de la Commission intitulé «Document d'orientation sur les exigences minimales applicables aux programmes de contrôle des salmonelles pour que ceux-ci soient reconnus comme équivalents à ceux approuvés pour la Suède et la Finlande en ce qui concerne les viandes et les œufs d'animaux de l'espèce Gallus gallus» (ci-après le «document d'orientation»).

On the same day, the Heads of State or Government of the Member States whose currency is the euro stated that the existing administrative structures providing assistance to the Council and to the Committee, namely, the General Secretariat of the Council and the Secretariat of the Economic and Financial Committee, would provide adequate support to the euro Summit President and the President of the Eurogroup, under the guidance of the President of the Committee/Eurogroup Working Group.

This is sometimes reinforced by the fact that some regulators issue at national level guidance diverging from guidance agreed in the Level 3 Committees.

(5) Whereas, in drafting this updated Note for Guidance, the Committee for Proprietary Medicinal Products of the European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products took into account all relevant Opinions of the Scientific Committee on Medicinal Products and Medical Devices, as well as the Scientific Steering Committee and additional scientific considerations which apply to the specific field of medicinal products;
(5) considérant que, pour élaborer cette "Note for Guidance" révisée, le comité des spécialités pharmaceutiques de l'Agence européenne pour l'évaluation des médicaments a tenu compte de tous les avis appropriés du comité scientifique des médicaments et des dispositifs médicaux et du comité directeur scientifique ainsi que d'autres considérations scientifiques relatives au domaine spécifique des médicaments;

Whereas, in particular, the principle should be maintained that the Fund should include a Guarantee Section for the expenditure of the common organisation of the agricultural markets and a Guidance Section for common expenditure relating to agricultural structure ; whereas the Commission is responsible for the administration of the Fund and whereas close co-operation between Member States and the Commission is provided for within a Committee for the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund;
