– (IT) Mr President, Commissioner, ladies and gentlemen, during a stage in its life in which Europe is undergoing a crisis of identity and prospects, I think that the establishment of a European Heritage Label that identifies those sites – both material and immaterial – of high symbolic and educational value for the history, culture and creation of the European Union, is particularly significant.
– (IT) Monsieur le Président, Madame la Commissaire, Mesdames et Messieurs, à une étape de son existence au cours de laquelle l’Europe traverse une crise d’identité et s’interroge sur ses perspectives d’avenir, la création d’un label du patrimoine européen identifiant des sites – tant matériels qu’immatériels – qui présentent une valeur éducationnelle et symbolique pour l’histoire, la culture et la création de l’Union européenne, me semble particulièrement significative.
