2. All acts by or on behalf of the Organisation or any of its organs under the International Cocoa Agreement, 1993, which are in effect on the date of entry into force of this Agreement and the terms of which do not provide for expiry on that date shall remain in effect unless changed under the provisions of this Agreement.
2. - 4 - SEVERAL ACP STATES Assistance to ACP/CEE 5th EDF 1 416 000 ECU business organizations set up Grant to improve production and export marketing of commodities The aim of the project is to help APROMA (Association des Produits a Marche) respond to the requests for assistance it received from ACP companies or organizations involved in developing export sales of "soft" commodities (agricultural and forestry products) incuding coffee, cocoa, oils and fats, timber, hides and skins. Recognizing that success in this field does not depend only on international agreements (e.g. the International Coffee and Cocoa Agreements), but also on commercial facilities and skills, APROMA is keen to develop a support programme over three years to provide : - training for ACP managers and administrators from marketing organizations and companies ; - selective up-to-date information to serve as a basis for commercial strategy and trade negotiations ; - specialist coordination in areas relating to the activities of ACP marketing organizations and companies and their dealings with European professionals and colleagues ; - technical assistance to ACP marketing and export bodies to help them improve their organization and operational resources.
Plusieurs ETATS ACP Assistance aux organisations 5eme FED - 1.416.000 ECU professionnelles ACP/CEE ayant pour aide non remboursable objet l'amelioration de la production et de la commercialisation des produits Le projet a pour objet d'apporter a l'Association des Produits a Marche (APROMA) l'assitance qui lui est necessaire pour repondre aux demandes d'intervention qui lui sont presentees par les organismes et les societes ACP dont les preoccupations sont centrees sur la recherche de l'amelioration et du developpement de la commercialisation sur le marche international des produits dits "a marche" relevant pour l'essentiel de l'agriculture des forets et de l'elevage (cafe, cacao, produits oleagineux, bois, cuirs et peaux, etc...) Observant que l'objet final recherche ne depend pas uniquement des accords negocies au niveau international (accord cafe, accord cacao, ...) mais aussi des moyens et des techniques propres au negoce international et aux moyens qu'il met en oeuvre, il est apparu necessaire a APROMA de definir un programme d'intervention dont la realisation sur 3 ans portera sur : - le perfectionnement professionnel des cadres ACP des organismes et societes de commercialisation; - la mise a disposition d'une information permanente et selective, base des strategies et negociations commerciales; - la concertation technique professionnelle sur des themes touchant l'activite des organismes et societes ACP de commercialisation et leurs rapports avec leurs partenaires europeens; - l'assistance technique aux organismes ACP de commercialisation a l'exportation aux fins de parfaire leur organisation et d'ameliorer leurs moyens d'intervention.
