Is firmly opposed to the introduction of specific parameters, such as EU-wide performance indicators, which could give rise to unnecessary red tape and inefficient operational structures; instead, calls on the Commission to provide companies with and promote the use of internationally accepted methodologies, such as those of the Global Reporting Initiative and the Integrated Reporting Council;
