We put a two-phase process in place. The two phases included the following the creation of a discussion paper among the parties to set out the general principles on the reciprocal consultation regarding land-use planning and related issues, as well as the negotiation of separate side agreements between individual municipalities and neighbouring first nations on specific topics of mutual concern within the area of land use planning.
Nous avons instauré un processus en deux étapes, à savoir la rédaction d'un document de discussion par les parties énonçant les principes généraux de la consultation sur la planification foncière et les questions connexes, et la négociation d'ententes parallèles distinctes entre les municipalités et les Premières nations avoisinantes sur des sujets précis d'intérêt commun dans le domaine de la planification foncière.
