I would add, Mr President, Commissioner, that in general I think that, given the crisis that Europe is currently experiencing and the distrust and suspicion that many people are showing towards the European institutions, now is the time for consolidation and reflection, not a headlong rush forward.
J’ajoute, Monsieur le Président, Monsieur le Commissaire, que de manière générale, je pense qu’aujourd’hui, après la crise qu’est en train de connaître l’Europe, la défiance, la méfiance que manifestent beaucoup de peuples à l’égard des institutions européennes, l’heure est à la consolidation et à la réflexion et non pas à la fuite en avant.
