The presence in this area of three river canyons cutting at right angles to the mountain ranges, with walls up to 1,000 metres high; the dramatic Virginia Falls, which drops over 90 metres; the hot springs, sinkholes, and tufa mounds of the Rabbit Kettle Hotsprings; and the karst topography are a combination unique in the world (1545) [Translation] Here too we find a diverse assemblage of plants, almost 700 species in total.
