4 (1) Subject to subsections (2) and (3), the method for allocating to a hatchery that is an applicant the import access quantity of hatching eggs and live broilers that may be imported into Canada in each calendar year is as follows:

The manufacturer must allow the notified body access for inspection purposes to the manufacturing, inspection, testing and storage premises and provide it with all necessary information, in particular:

The notified body as referred to under point 3.1 must have permanent access for inspection purposes to the locations of building sites, production workshops, locations of assembling and installation, storage areas and, where appropriate, prefabrication or testing facilities and, more general, to all premises which it considers necessary for its task, in accordance with the applicant's specific contribution to the subsystem project.
4.2. The notified body(ies) as referred to under point 3.1 must have permanent access for inspection purposes to the locations of design, building sites, production workshops, locations of assembling and installation, storage areas and, where appropriate, prefabrication or testing facilities and, more general, to all premises which it considers necessary for its task, in accordance with the applicant's specific contribution to the subsystem project.
4.2.
