E. whereas the climate crisis, which has a major impact on the lives of the poor, is one of the major topics of the Lima agenda and needs to be adequately addressed by political decision-makers, preparing the way for the incorporation into the existing global and association agreements with Mexico and Chile of corresponding fully-fledged chapters and for a marked shift in priorities in the ongoing negotiations with the Mercosur bloc, the Andean Community and the Central American countries,
E. considérant que la dimension relative au changement climatique, de par ses répercussions considérables sur les conditions de vie des pauvres, constitue l'un des principaux points inscrits à l'ordre du jour du sommet de Lima et qu'il doit être traité comme il convient par les décideurs politiques, en ouvrant la voie à l'introduction de chapitres consacrés spécifiquement à cette question dans les actuels accords mondiaux et d'association avec le Mexique et le Chili, ainsi qu'à une refonte des priorités dans le cadre des négociations en cours avec le bloc Mercosur, la Communauté andine et les pays d'Amérique centrale,
