We have worked with a variety of public agencies that have adopted electronic monitoring as a compliance tool. Because very few probation and parole officers in the community work after hours or into the weekend, their ability to visit their clients to make sure they're at home when they need to be, or to make sure they're staying away from schoolyards and playgrounds as directed, or are not drinking, is extremely limited.
