However, since the Agreement with Hong Kong is the first in a long series and the Commission is modelling subsequent agreements on it, the Commission should be called upon to reconsider the wording of the clause or to make provision for the definition of a joint declaration, annexed to the Agreement itself, making the obligation deriving from international treaties in the sphere of respect for human dignity, rights and fundamental freedoms more explicit.
Toutefois, l'accord avec Hong Kong étant le premier d'une longue série et ayant été utilisé par la Commission comme modèle en vue des accords suivants, la Comission est invitée à reconsidérer le texte de la clause ou à prévoir une déclaration commune en annexe à l'accord lui-même rendant plus explicite les obligations résultant des traités internationaux en matière de respect de la dignité humaine des droits et des libertés fondamentaux.
