Les risques liés à l'utilisation du déca-BDE dans les EEE se révèlent être encore plus graves à la suite des découvertes récentes[10] concernant des décharges non contrôlées de déchets dans l’UE et concernant en particulier le commerce illégal de DEEE vers des pays dont les conditions de gestion des déchets ne sont pas conformes aux normes. L’industrie utilisatrice peut demander des exemptions temporaires à l’interdiction conformément aux critères de l’article 5, paragraphe 1, point b).

3b The individual shall be informed about the follow-up given to the exercise of his rights of correction and deletion as soon as possible and in any event not later than 3 months from the date on which he applies for correction or deletion. If national law provides for a shorter delay, the latter shall be respected.
