It is therefore important for Libya to take the right approach to a fair and transparent judicial process in dealing with the recently captured son of Gadhafi, Saif al-Islam, and his brother-in-law, Abdullah al-Senussi.

The European Union has taken note of the decision of the International Criminal Court's Pre-Trial Chamber I on 27 June to issue an arrest warrant against Muammar Abu Minya Gaddafi, Saif Al Islam Gaddafi and Abdullah Al Sanousi in connection with alleged crimes against humanity in Libya.
