Competent authorities shall perform official controls on a regular basis and with appropriate frequency to identify possible intentional violations of the rules referred to in Article 1(2), taking into account, in addition to the criteria referred to in paragraph 1, information regarding such possible intentional violations shared through the mechanisms of administrative assistance provided for in Title IV and any other information pointing to the possibility of such violations.
